Bridge to Employment
The Bridge to Employment team wanted to reimagine how their website engaged audiences. This meant examining how users currently experience the website and highlighting the work in a way that resonated across all audiences. This initiative supports the mission of helping young people build bridges to brighter futures through postsecondary education and elevated career paths.

Challenge
The Bridge to Employment website needed not only a redesign but also a rebuild of the entire WordPress CMS to allow for editing by the content team. The BTE website needed to be an experience that supports the mission of helping young people build bridges to brighter futures through postsecondary education and elevated career paths.
Approach
Through art direction and implementation, I created a visual hierarchy with interchangeable components that made the content easy to find and accessible to a wide range of audiences. I developed a customized Wordpress CMS that made editing easy and intuitive for the web content team. The result was a fresh, new web presence that reflected the storied legacy of Bridge to Employment.
After launching the new website, bounce rate dropped from 52% to 31% signaling higher user engagement on the website. Every interaction was considered a chance to reinforce the Bridge to Employment brand and tell the story of progress.
